Self-confidence Issues? How To Learn The Art Of Self-Confidence.

It is all in the mind, but that I presume you know already. Everyone has highs and lows, becoming aware of these is crucial when you choose to be outgoing. No use in going for extrovert when you are in a low, it is tantamount to setting yourself up to fail.

Also, some people are just not comfortable in extrovert frames of mind because their basic vibes are introvert, so that equals to something like asking a dog to act like a cat or the other way around. It just doesn’t work. If that is your case, it is just a matter of coming to terms with this and not trying to force the issue.

You will eventually attract people you can relate to and be yourself with.

Then again, practise is definitely a possibility once you set your mind to it. To go for it, you should also allow yourself some wiggle room and prepare yourself to fail every now and then, without letting the failures get to you. This you should look at as being part of the perfecting process and it is unavoidable. By making mistakes, you will also learn valuable lessons teaching you the art of being outgoing, there is no shame in going through the proces of learning.

I can assure you I had my fair share of red cheeks moments, but that is largely compensated by incredible moments of joy, for example, when a good joke or a well placed remark would make a crowd roar with laughter, which I managed to pull of a considerable number of times.

Or, when I had practiced real empathy and would start asking the questions that begged asking when a good listener “hears” the message, and that person responds with a torrent of words, having finally found someone to talk to…
